For the past 12 years, Art on the Underground (AotU) has been commissioning and championing contemporary art and working artists, ranging from Richard Long to David Shrigley.

As part of the Mind the Map exhibition, AotU has collaborated with London Transport Museum to create a film exploring the methods used by artists commissioned to create new Tube map covers.

This event will showcase the first full length screening of the film (extracts are featured in the exhibition), introduced by Tamsin Dillon, Head of Art on the Underground.

Louisa Buck, art critic and Cornelia Parker, sculptor and art installation artist, will join Tamsin to delve into artistic and cultural representations of maps, exploring the wider themes highlighted in the film. The film is directed by Jared Schiller.
