Free FreeThe UK Rescue Challenge is the most prestigious national competition for fire and rescue services in the UK, where firefighters from across the country compete in various emergency services disciplines, demonstrating leading advancements in firefighter rescue techniques and capabilities.
Free of charge and open to the general public, it will be an event with a difference, giving people a unique opportunity to see firefighters in training for real-life situations and show how complex and varied the job of a London firefighter really is.
This year’s event will also include a community safety village and a large exhibition, with a number of high-profile demonstrations like water rescues using boats and simulated fires, taking place throughout the day.
Runs from 16th to 20th October.
