This event has finished Took place on: Tuesday, 16th Oct 2012

 Free

The Hackney Society Chair reprises this walk that was originallyconceived for the National Youth Theatre in 2004; this time with a salacious twist for adult audiences.

Shoreditch was home to several theatres where Shakespeare and Burbage played. Only recently, inMarch 2009, was thesite of the Theatre (built in 1576)found in the 'suburbs ofsin'.Sex, death, fighting, duels, theatre and drink. Who needs 'Eastenders'?

Oh, and transvestism thrown in for good measure.
