Barbican Centre upgrade as Centre for Music is cancelled

Plans for a new concert hall in the City of London have been cancelled as the City decides to revamp the Barbican Centre instead.

A tall twisting tower is set to rise on the site of the Museum of London, as the new home for a large concert hall.
