The restored Painted Hall in Greenwich — the UK’s own Sistine Chapel — is starting an offer that sees the first Sunday of every month offer a big discount on the entry fee.
Entry to the undercroft exhibition and then to the Painted Hall usually costs £12 per adult — but on the first Sunday of the month, the entry fee will be just £5 per adult – and free for people aged 16 and under.
The first of their cheap tickets days will be Sunday 1st November – and you need to book tickets here. The Painted Hall is open 10am to 5pm.
There will also be discounts in the shop and café for residents of the Royal Borough of Greenwich (valid proof of address required).
The Painted Hall used to be free to visit, but they closed it for a major restoration and it reopened last March, along with the newly cleared undercroft that used to be private, and a newly discovered part of the old Tudor palace.
Also, note that the First Sunday tickets cannot be converted into an annual pass, that is only possible if you opt to pay the full £12 entry charge.
Thank you
