Dotted around London are a growing number of micro-breweries, and many of them are offering home delivery of their beers in the lockdown times.

Some small breweries have been selling online for ages, while others have quickly set up online stores, and some are just relying on emailing orders in and they process them.

They range from nationwide delivery through couriers to local deliveries in the van.

In purely alphabetical order, all the London beer breweries I have been able to find that are offering some form of home delivery service.

I may have missed some for I am but human prone to error, or because their website doesn’t mention a delivery service and I wasn’t minded to go wading through weeks of their Facebook posts to find a buried comment that might not even be there.

This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.

It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.

Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.

Truly, you are doing God’s work here. Thank you very much

A wonderful public service. Many thanks.

  3. Sykobee says:

I have availed myself of a couple of crates from Canopy so far this lockdown, which have been very nice (and they had a code for some money off too, keeping it a reasonable price).

And just now bought some from the London Beer Factory just down the road (they’re on the same small industrial estate as Gipsy Hill Brewery, interesting how one gives its address as Gipsy Hill and the other as West Norwood (I’d argue they’re both Gipsy Hill). 24 cans for under £40 is good value I’d say.

  4. Sam Crawford says:

Don’t forget Pressure Drop – https://pressuredropbrewing.co.uk/ – probably my favourite brewery in London right now. They do delivery for £5.99, with a minimum order of 8 cans.

  5. Alistair Twiname says:

camra have produced a brew2you app which covers somme of these and also some pubs which are selling draft growlers etc.

  6. NIcky D says:

Thanks very much for this list. I’ve been scouring the country for 10L polypins and you’ve hit the nail on the head here. Just to say that cider is cheaper- Dudda’s Tun and Kentish Pip are top notch.
