SUPPORT THIS WEBSITE

This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.

It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.

Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.

If you like what you read on here, then please support the website here.

Thank you

Thanks once more to IanVisits for providing these summaries during the year.

    They remain very informative.

Construction on the London Overground Barking Riverside extension should start early next year and to be completed in 2021. With a new Renwick Rd Overground station also planned to be built as part of the Barking Riverside extension.

    • Andrew Gwilt says:

Plus strikes on South Western Railway is likely to happen throughout next year. As RMT are to be blamed for allowing train operators such as SWR & Northern to continue having strikes that is set to cause more misery to passengers.

You’re just repeating what the article already said.

    • Andrew Gwilt says:

Ok. Perhaps I do talk too much and not make any sense no matter what I comment. Unless you have a way to ban me from commenting if I carry on commenting that you don’t like speculation if I was to carry on.

  3. Nic Maennling says:

Dear Andrew Gwilt, Perhaps you could compose your comment offline and read it again in the morning, maybe with someone whose Mother tongue is English. No doubt you have something interesting to say. It works for me.
