This weekend, there will be a “flash sale” offering annual passes to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden for just £10 per person.

Entry to the museum is normally £17.50, and if you gift-aid it, then it becomes an annual pass for repeat visits.

The special offer £10 annual passes will be available to purchase online from 6pm on Friday 13 July, or all weekend in the Museum and also online. Up to six discounted annual pass tickets can be purchased per person in one transaction at any time. Proof of identity will be requested when repeat visits are made.

Turning up in person has its rewards though.

The first 300 visitors on Saturday 14 and on Sunday 15 July 2018 will receive a free poster each. The poster will either be a World Cup or Wimbledon inspired poster as seen in the museum’s current Poster Girls exhibition.

They also have a shop clearance sale running this weekend with many items 75% off the normal price. There will be a 2-4-1 offer on ice-cream, and a burger&beer offer in the cafe.

The World Cup and Wimbledon sporting events will also be streamed live in the Museum over the weekend.

SUPPORT THIS WEBSITE

This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.

It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.

Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.

If you like what you read on here, then please support the website here.

Thank you
