Earlier this year, the first ever tours of the only-recently discovered vaults under Bristol’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge took place.

And they have now started taking bookings for 2017.

During the tour, you will learn about the construction and discovery of the huge red brick abutments which support the bridge towers before donning a hard hat and high vis jacket and exploring two of the twelve vaulted chambers inside the Leigh Woods abutment.

As each group is fairly small and there aren’t that many tours, this will remain a fairly exclusive place that few will ever get to see the inside of.

Visits must be pre-booked online and cost £15.26 per person
