The bookings pages apparently open tomorrow (Thur 18th Aug) for next month’s annual Open House Weekend.
You wont know that if you look at their website, which just says “mid-August“, and apparently if you ordered their guide, then it would arrive before the website goes live, and mine hasn’t arrived — but their Twitter feed told someone who asked that it will open tomorrow.
I think this might be called a stealth launch?
Also, I think this is now the fourth year in the row where the website has gone live before the printed guide has been sent out. Which is increasingly irksome.
A few people have however been in touch, and provided the list of venues which will be pre-booking when the website goes live.

I was barely able to find out what day the bookings start, let along knowing what hour as well. Open House people really seemed to have kept it very hush hush this year.

Anyone managed to book Trellick Tower? Can’t tell if it’s gone live and I’ve missed it or whether they haven’t opened booking for it yet.
‘Unavailable’ not ‘Sold Out’ so I don’t think it’s gone live yet.

If I had waited for the Twitter or email from Open House I would have missed out on some nice buildings.
Would be good if they could do a ballot for any pre-book places im the future.

It would help if open house emailed people on their mailing list when certain places tickets etc where going live.
I’ve been on their mailing list for many years and Open house are not very good of informing people on their email list except to tell you to pre-order their guide which I ordered 3 weeks ago, and arrived today!
