This is a little different, but the newish passenger tunnel at King’s Cross station is the setting for a lecture next month.
The Institute of Physics (IOP) has lured Dr Lewis Dartnell, a UK Space Agency Research Fellow, to give a talk about how physics is shaping our hunt for extra-terrestrial life.
And why not do so in a tunnel that looks like it comes straight out of a sci-fi movie?
From the moons that might harbour new beings, to robotic missions crammed with cutting-edge tech, and deserts on Earth that can help us search for life beyond our planet, delve into the latest research in alien exploration.
This lecture takes place on 8th October at 6:30pm, is free and open to all.

Which reminds me – recently, you highlighted the set of axionometric drawings of “all” of the UndergrounD stations … except that the deeper level(s) of KXStP seemed to be absent.
Has anyone found a copy of that missing information, yet?
They would have to switch off that ever changing light show if I am to avoid a headache.
