Tickets to attend the probably now annual event of the goat race at Spitalfield’s city farm have gone on sale.
Coinciding with the Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race, two goats, aptly named Oxford and Cambridge will race along a route in the city farm next to Shoreditch Overground Station.
The event tends to sell out, and there are no tickets on the door any more, so booking online is the only option this year, and they are selling fewer tickets (at a higher price) to keep the crowds down a bit.
Performances and general hijinks from 1:30pm. The Race will be sometime between 2:00pm and 4:30pm, depending on animal moods.
Adults are £10 and ‘kids’ under 12 years old are £1

All proceeds go directly to Spitalfields City Farm
SUPPORT THIS WEBSITE
This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.
It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.
Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.
If you like what you read on here, then please support the website here.
Thank you
Amazing. I love this idea. Thanks for the tip x
