Stand on the Trafalgar Square Plinth

As you may recall from previous media stories, ubiquitous person artist, Antony Gormley is unsurprisingly using people as his medium for the empty plinth on Trafalgar Square.

Every hour, 24 hours a day, for 100 days without a break beginning on 6th July, a different person will make the Plinth their own – an uninterrupted succession of 2400 volunteers creating a “unique portrait of the UK in the 21st century”.

As the art will be made up of volunteers having the plinth for themselves for 1 hour each, you need to apply to be a lucky art exhibit.

I’ve applied, although frankly I have absolutely no idea what I’d do if I was chosen – probably something political (anyone spare me a blonde wig?).
