If I am a subscriber to your magazine (and registered with you via my email address), please don’t send me an email suggesting that I would find a subscription a good idea and explaining what I am missing out by not reading your publication.

If I already have an account with your internet advertising agency, don’t send me a sales message explaining how much money I am missing out by not having an account with your company. I am missing out money because you are not doing a good job of monetising my existing account with you.

If the East London Line is closed until 2010, and has now ceased to be part of the London Underground, why not just remove it from the tube maps so that I won’t spend the next two and a half years being told at every opportunity that the line is closed.
