A chance to visit the top of the BT Tower is pretty high up most people’s “bucket list” of things to do in London, but how about spending the night sleeping there?

As part of a promotion for a new product, BT are offering an “indoors camping experience”, basically a chance to sleep in the formerly revolving restaurant at the top of the tower.

There will also be 360 tickets offered to go up and have a look from the top during the daytime, as part of a free ballot.

The event at the BT Tower will be held on Saturday 14th July and Sunday 15th July. Ballot winners will be given an allotted timeslot to go up the Tower.

In total 90 pairs of tickets are being offered on each day over the weekend, and one grand prize draw for 1 winner & 3 guests to stay overnight at the top of the Tower.

To enter the ballot, go here.

All winners will be required to provide names of who will be going to the BT Tower in advance and both will be required to bring photo ID (passport or Driving License) to gain entry to the BT Tower. Entry to the BT Tower without these will be denied.

SUPPORT THIS WEBSITE

This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.

It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.

Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.

If you like what you read on here, then please support the website here.

Thank you
