Tickets Alert: Monty Python at Museum of the Order of St John
Fancy watching daring deeds of times long past in a museum devoted to the history of daring deeds of times long past?
The Museum tells the story of the Order of Saint John, defending Crusader castles, through to its modern-day incarnation as St John Ambulance. The museum is housed in a 16th century gatehouse at the original 11th century headquarters of the Knights Hospitaller.
For two nights, this venue will also host a screening of a — very appropriate for the venue — Python movie classic.
Enjoy a few drinks in the galleries with The Jerusalem Tavern, follow the Holy Grail Trail, or take a tour of the Norman Crypt before settling down to watch the 1975 British comedy Monty Python and The Holy Grail on the big screen.
This is an opportunity to watch this British classic in a historical setting.
The film will be shown on 28th and 29th October, doors open at 6pm, the screening starts at 7.30pm in the panelled Chapter Hall.
Tickets cost £12.99 and can be booked here
