Tickets Alert: Dates for 2025 tours of Goldsmiths’ Hall announced
One of the grandest of the City’s livery halls, the Goldsmiths is open a few days a year for public tours and the dates for next year have been announced.
The hall is large, very opulently decorated and packed with history, and as it’s rarely open to the public, it makes for a memorable place to visit.
The available dates for 2025 are:
- Monday 13th January
- Monday 17th March (tickets on sale on Tues 28th Jan 2025 at 2pm)
- Monday 28th April
- Monday 19th May
- Monday 10th November
- Monday 8th December
Tours last about an hour and each tour can accommodate up to 40 people at a charge of £10 per person, which goes to the Goldsmiths’ Company Charity.
Tickets for the 13th January 2025 tour will be released at 2pm today (17th Dec), and the rest will be released next year.

If you can’t get in on a tour, then the building is also open during the annual Goldsmiths’ Fair, but only a part of it. The Goldsmiths’ Hall is not just a grand building for a livery company, once a year it also becomes an official court of law for the Trial of the Pyx.
New for next year, they are also offering tours for groups. If you can gather a group of 10 or more people, they will offer a private tour for your group — fill in the form here.
Hello
My name is Pat Honey, I’m the visits organiser for the City of London Guides and Lecturers Association, if possible I’d like to book a tour of Goldsmiths Hall for around 10 to 20 City of London Guides I understand the tours are very popular so any date and time, when ever you can fit us in,
Goldsmiths hall is a very popular stop on our walking tours, in fact it often comes up in the city guides exams but its surprising how many guides haven’t been inside.
regards
Pat Honey , City of London Guide
