There will be a rare chance to attend a talk by Professor Stephen Hawking, and the talk will be free to attend.
Unsurprisingly, the tickets will be in huge demand, so are being allocated by a free ballot.
The talk is actually rescheduled from one he was due to give back in March but was sadly cancelled due to ill health.
Health permitting, he will be at Imperial College on the evening of Monday 17th October, and you can request up to 2 tickets in the ballot here.
Professor Hawking’s recently published paper ‘Soft hair on black holes’ takes us one step closer to solving the black hole information paradox, and Imperial says that it is pleased to be able to reschedule this special event after unfortunately having to cancel twice due to Professor Hawking’s ill-health
The ballot will be closed on 23 September. Successful ticket winners will be contacted on 27 September.
