An annual gin festival returns to Tobacco Dock later this year, and early-bird tickets are now on sale.

Junipalooza was established in 2013 with the intention of giving kindred Gin fans an opportunity to meet gin makers and to discover more about how they make their spirits and the stories behind their brands.

Three years on, it has also become known for its ability to shine a light on the huge variety of gins that are now available.

Junipalooza is a Meet the Maker show, not just somewhere with a large selection of gins laid out for you to try.

In addition to British gins, 42 ginsmiths are flying in from foreign climes to show off their wares.

In total around 100 gins will be on show.

Junipalooza takes place over the weekend of 11th-12th June and tickets are currently on sale here.

This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.

It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.

Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.

If you like what you read on here, then please support the website here.
