An online seller of minimalist logos in frames has secured a license to do the same to the London Underground roundels.

The range consists of single line outline icons of all 270 London Underground stations, 112 London Overground stations and 45 DLR stations.

Station roundels are available in their associated line colours as well as black and white versions. You can order a frame of between 4 and 12 icons, giving a potential to show each station on your daily commute to work. You can also mix up the roundels with other icons from their range.

The frames start at £39, from My Icon Story.

Note, when testing the “design your own” function on their website didn’t work in the Firefox browser, but did work fine in Chrome.

This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.

It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.

Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.

If you like what you read on here, then please support the website here.

Thank you

Might actually get it for Christmas as a Christmas present (for myself).
