The joint Museum of London and Museum of London Docklands has announced that they will be reopening their doors at both venues on Thursday 6th August.
As part of the reopening, The Clash: London Calling display at the Museum of London will be extended until 6 September 2020 and The Krios of Sierra Leone display at the Museum of London Docklands will be extended until 14 March 2021.
As with lots of venues, a one-way route will be introduced. Opening times are also shorter – from 11.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday and 10am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The cafe at the Museum of London will be open, but at the Docklands site, it’s moving next door into the Rum & Sugar restaurant, which is surprisingly owned by the museum.
Visitors to each museum will be required to book a free ticket online, in advance, for a time slot of their choosing. These tickets are now available to book in six-week windows from here.
