    Just to encourage my lack of google skills.. did the jublee line extension really open with no weekend running? or was that just temporary while testing etc? seems insane now with Westfield etc.

    I was in New York recently and saw this exhibition at the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum.

    Contains several promotional posters by the artist Edward McKnight Kaufferfor destinations offered by the various tube and rail lines in London. Plus posters for Derry and Toms and a couple of London Museums as well as his wider graphic and artistic.

    His wife – Marian Dorn – designed a couple of moquettes for seat fabric as well (see page 3)

    Both have pages on the London Transport Museum Website.
