Kew Gardens to have a Halloween themed light trail in October
This October, visitors to Kew Gardens can expect tricks and treats, with a new Halloween-themed light trail opening in mid-October.
Kew is famous for hosting their Christmas light trail each year, but this Halloween, trees will twinkle in spookier colours, fire performers will dazzle and enchant, and visitors won’t know what’s lurking in the dark.
As dusk falls, Halloween at Kew will see the Gardens transformed with eerie illuminated trees, ghoulish installations, fire performers and more. A band of actors will haunt the Gardens and bring family-friendly thrills as the light fades, creating a spooktacular evening out for everyone to enjoy. Stumble across a Possessed Pumpkin Farm, wander through an illuminated Spiders Web, survive a sensational storm and discover a neon Carnivorous Tree feeding on unsuspecting skeletons. Witches, scarecrows, vampires and monsters will lurk in the shadows, and you may even stumble upon a headless horseman along the way.
Three sessions each evening offer visitors the option to choose the scare-factor that suits them: Daylight, Twilight and Moonlight.
Each session will have a slightly different feel, with the ghostly goings on gradually increasing as the evening progresses. The darker it gets, the spookier it gets.

SUPPORT THIS WEBSITE
This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.
It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.
Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.
If you like what you read on here, then please support the website here.
