Scents & Sensuality: Fragrance during the Reign of Akhenaten

Using the most evocative of the human senses, discover the might of heretic king Akhenaten and his famously beautiful queen Nefertiti with that renowned purveyor of olfactory adventures, Odette Toilette. Egyptologist John J. Johnston will discuss the perfumed oils and scents of ancient Egypt, which played so great a role in elite life, together with the modern fragrances inspired by the culture. There will be an opportunity for the audience to sample many of the fragrances under discussion.

Doors open 6pm, event starts 6:30pm
