Free FreeFollowing restoration, the Old Operating Theatre and Herb Garret of the old St Thomas Hospital opened on 27 October 1962, making the museum 50 years old on 27 October 2012.
The museum is offering free admission to celebrate.
Surgical demonstrations will take place on the hour, every hour from 11am to 4pm.
(I just wish someone would give their events page a restoration)
