As mentioned a few weeks ago, there is to be a one-night art event in Central London, and tickets are now about to go on sale.

On sale being a subjective term, as the events are free, but need pre-booking.

From 6pm until the early hours, audiences for Art Night 2016 are able to take in a trail of art, architecture, dance, design and music, that includes:

  • Two Temple Place
  • 190 Strand
  • Covent Garden
  • 180 Strand
  • Disused Jubilee Line at Charing Cross Station
  • Southwark Cathedral
  • Duke of York Steps, ICA
  • Admiralty Arch
  • St Mary Le Strand
  • Somerset House

There’s nothing about when tickets are being released on their website, but their twitter feed says to check the ICA website instead on Monday at noon.

(Continuing an annoying trend of putting critical information on social media, and not the main website)

For my money, in terms of building access, Admiralty Arch is the highlight of the event.

The event itself takes place over the evening of 2nd July.

SUPPORT THIS WEBSITE

This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.

It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.

Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.

If you like what you read on here, then please support the website here.

Thank you

How does it work? We have to book each thing separately? How long should we leave in between each thing? Very little advice given on their web site!
