The station staff at Leicester Square were less than helpful. They failed to empathise with a lone woman running for the last train. This reminds me of the girl who was turned off the bus for the want of 20p and was then raped on her way home. Transport workers need to remember that the potential lost revenue is not coming out of their pocket.
The tube is just about the last refuge from other people’s inane mobile phone chatter. Look forward to ‘I’m on the tube, the tube, THE TUBE’.
