A large (possibly) art (maybe) event based around fire is taking place next month at Battersea Power Station.
We are told that “globes of fire and thousands of points of flickering flame will illuminate the Power Station as musicians play a mix of old-style Parisian music with moody improvised sounds.”
The Fire Garden is described as an illuminating, artistic tribute, delivered on a monumental scale, to Battersea Power Station before it is closed for redevelopment.
The Fire Garden is a free but ticketed event — and tickets will be issued via a free public ballot. Winners will be picked at random and notified by email.

The event itself takes place on Fri 5 & Sat 6 Sep, 6.30pm – 10.30pm
