Pssst – want a 15th century suit of armour?

Random

OK, a tad out of my price range, but wouldn’t it be wonderful to own a 15th century suit of armour?

Suit of ArmourJust in time for the Christmas fancy dress parties as well.

Christie’s are selling it at the end of the month, along with a range of swords, guns and even a few cannons.

In our more paranoid society, I suspect you might have a bit of a problem catching the tube home from Sth Kensington if you buy anything though.

As I have mentioned in the past, the auction house has public viewing days. Although aimed at potential buyers, they are open to us poor people as well, and I treat them as a temporary museum exhibition.

Viewing Times:

Nov 27: 9am – 5pm
Nov 28: 10am – 4pm
Nov 29: 10am – 4pm
Nov 30: 9am – 12:00pm
