President Elect Obama at Madame Tussauds

Events and Tours, Politics, photography

A firm which is never shy of blatent publicity stunts, Madame Tussauds has decided that Americans can get free entry into its waxworks on the day the new US President is inaugurated into the Presidency.

President Obama waxworkThey have already got a waxwork of the new President ready – although the photo accompanying their press release was a bit startling for a moment.

I wonder though – will the sign in the waxwork say “President Elect Obama” in the morning and then be swiftly swapped over for “President Obama” the moment he swears the oath of office?

Actually, being there to photograph the sign swap-over might be quite an interesting photo opportunity.
