Anubis on the Thames

You see some odd sights at times going along the River Thames – but seeing Anbuis standing proud as he is taken up to the center of London has to be one of the stranger ones.

As an aside, the Victorians (incorrectly) thought the origin of the name for the River Thames was River Isis – another Egyptian reference.

He was seen heading the other way an hour later – so I guess it could have been a cryptic advert for the forthcoming Tutankhamen exhibition at the O2/Dome?
